Togetherness Meditation - Days 133 & 134

Hello OMCru!

Shout-outs galore today as our CREW started the day quite early.

Our Midday Meditative Meetup shout-out was sent out at 11:30am PST - 1:30pm CST - 2:30pm EST.

The 'after dark' Crew will be sending out their own invitations to sit and share practice later today - around 7pm PST/10pm EST and 8pm PST/11pm EST.

As usual, we can expect many more STOP, DROP, MEDITATE calls from the Twangha at any moment during the day, so be on the lookout for the #OMCru hashtag on Twitter and join in whenever you have the time.

As many of you have noticed, the OMCru has grown into a very open community which welcomes practitioners from many different traditions, lineages and faiths wishing to share their moments of mindfulness. This has inspired our community-fostering question of the day:

How has sharing your practice with a diverse community made it better/different for you?

Be present and rock the day CREW! _/|\_ :-) \m/

  1. Just having a community makes a huge difference. I now have a daily practice when I didn't before. Also I enjoy the ease that comes with the communal openness.

  2. Having OMC 'there' waiting to BE beside me is a marvel of the internet!

Motivation is harder on repetitive tasks and so much easier when shared. Being able to clik & join others has been instrumental to my daily practice, which in turn has helped my health & well being.

And besides-it's also fun to meet & greet folks around the world and share a time together. What a wonderful idea! Thanks so much to our founder & to the Crew for keeping it going.

    What goes around comes around.
